MOUNT RAUNG - IJEN CRATER TREK - BROMO SUNRISE

DAY
01: ARRIVAL SURABAYA - IJEN CRATER
Upon your International arrival in Juanda - Surabaya airport then you
will be transfered directly to Ijen Crater by 7 - 8 hours land drive
with stop en route at the local restaurant in Surabaya to have a dinner
as on your personal expenses.
DAY 02: IJEN CRATER - SUMBER WRINGIN VILLAGE
Estimate time arrival at entrance gate of Ijen Crater is about 04.00
am, so you will have one hour ready to prepare to walk into the rim
crater companioned by breakfast on the ranger's station. You will leave
the entrance gate at 05.00 am to have walk into the rim crater of Ijen
Crater. Arround 08.00 am, you will get retun trek to the entrance gate
to continue the journey by land drive to Sumber wringin village as entrance
gate of Mount Raung national park. Here you will stay at local house
belongs to villagers. (B,L,D)
DAY 03: SUMBER WRINGIN VILLAGE - PONDOK ANGIN CAMPSITE
This morning after check obligatory permit, you will transfered by pick
up vehicle encouter through the Pinus forest and coffee plantation.
Start walking through to Pondok Motor as the entrance gate. Then continue
trekking trough to Pondok sumur and pondok mayit (corpse), pondok demit
(devil). As you will stay camp at Pondok Angin. The trekking to reach
base camp (2.975M) will takes about 8 - 9 hours trekking on the beneath
of rain forest. Our mountain guide team will provide your dinner and
dome tent for stay camping. (B,L,D)
DAY
04: PONDOK ANGIN CAMPSITE - MOUNT RAUNG - SUMBER WRINGIN VILLAGE
Before dawn, you should ready to attempt to the summit at 04.00 am.
You will walk through the sandy and stony path towards to Summit of
Mount Raung as the second highest point in Java island. Enjoying the
view, and return trek down to base camp for have a breakfast. After
breakfast, you will go return trek to Sumber Wringin for 5 - 6 hours
walking. You will have late dinner on Local House and stay here again.

DAY 05: SUMBER WRINGIN VILLAGE - LAVA VIEW HOTEL
After have a breakfast, leave the village to heading drive to Bromo.
The next drive will takes 4 -5 hours land journey and stop en route
at local restaurant.
Stay Overnight at Hotel Lava View Bromo and dinner will be on your personal
expenses. (B,L)
DAY 06: LAVA VIEW HOTEL - MOUNT PANANJAKAN - MOUNT BROMO - SURABAYA
AIRPORT
Early morning wake up at 03.00 am, as you will leave the hotel arround
04.00 am by 4WD jeep to cross the sea sand and catch up the sunrise
on view point of Mount Pananjakan. Here you will take pictures of beautiful
sunrise coming up. Afterward, you will have another 30 minutes drive
to Bromo sea sand to walk into rim crater (its just easy walk by step
but you can do a half of way horse riding on your personal expenses
Rp.60.000 as return trip) from jeep parking area on behind of Bromo
temple.
After reach the crater of Bromo volcano, you will get back to hotel
for have breakfast and take shower for clean up. Before late check out
time (10.30 am), you will leave the hotel to drive to Surabaya airport
to catch your flight home. (B) END OF JOURNEY
