MOUNT GEDE - PANGRANGO TREK

DAY
01: JAKARTA - CIBODAS - HIKING TO KANDANG BADAK CAMPSITE
On the first day, you will be picked up at your residence by our guide
staff then transfer you to Cibodas as known as the entry gate of Gunung
Gede Pangrango National Park. This drive will takes for about 3 hours
land journey. Our mountain guide will lead you for start trekking up
through to our last base camp "Kadang Badak". During this
half day trek (6-7 hours walk) then you will encounter and passing the
colour lake, water falls and the hot spring. Stay overnight on our dome
tents at Kandang Badak base camp for your acclimatization (L,D).
DAY
02: SUMMIT MOUNT PANGRANGO - KANDANG BADAK CAMPSITE
Early morning, our mountain guide team will lead your first climb to
the summit of Mount Pangrango (3,100 M) as known as the second highest
peak in West Java. Attempt to summit Pangrango will takes 3 - 4 hours
from Kandang Badak base camp. After take pictures on the top of Mount
Pangrango, you will descend to base camp for have a lunch and stay camp
at Kandang Badak Campsite (B,L,D).
DAY
03: KANDANG BADAK CAMPSITE - SUMMIT MOUNT GEDE
After have breakfast, you will continue to climb brother's peak Mount
Gede (2,958 M) to see the 3 semi-active craters. This ascend is no need
technical climb skill as you just have to walk on the stony and sandy
path of summit ridge Mount Gede for about 4 hours from Kandang Badak
base camp.
Finally reach the top of Mount Gede for take some pictures and celebrate
your successful climb afterward return trek down to Surya Kencana Meadow
for your stay overnight on our dome tent. Our mountain guide will cook
your dinner here (B,L,D).
DAY
04: SURYAKENCANA MEADOW - GUNUNG PUTRI - JAKARTA
After have breakfast, we will lead you back to another entranace gate
by traverse through to Gunung Putri Gate. This return trek will takes
about 6 hours walking down on the pine forest and submontana forest.
Reach the village then drive back to Jakarta. Enroute stop at local
restaurat for your lunch on your personal expenses. Transfer to your
residence in Jakarta (B). END OF JOURNEY
