Face and Climb it, Never Stop Climb......

Ciampea Big Wall is situated in Ciampea, West Java. The 75 km trip from Jakarta takes 2 hours driving encounter Bogor or the City of Buitenzorg (Dutch means "free of cares") which has world class botanical gardens.

The rock is about 30 meter limestone wall and has 13 track which is challenging for sport climbing. Ciampea has variety points with the grade 5.8 - 5.12 and its dominated by pocket grip. You can set up dome tent on the beneath of wall even just a small chamber area.

Favourite route:

1). Tangga with the Grade 5.7 (15 meter) and the type is clean climbing. You can do ascending-descending practice here with your fixed rope and jumar as there is no hanger there.

2). Toke with the Grade 5.9 (7 meter) and the type is sport climbing, provided 3 hangers.

3). Kambing with the Grade 5.9 (11 meter) and aslo the type is sport climbing, provided 3 hangers.
